Urdu poetry (اردو شاعری‎ Urdu Shayari) is a term of Urdu poetry in subcontinent, India and Pakistan. Urdu poetry has several different forms that have been basically originated from Arabic and borrowing much from the Persian language. Urdu poetry is today a significant part of Pakistani culture and it produced many urdu poets.
